Spring is on its way (I hope)

Last week I was riding my little bike in the most glorious sunshine.  Sunday evening the weather started to turn cold and then yesterday and today, temperatures plummeted to -3c.  Here is a picture of part of my garden this morning.

Spring officially arrives on the 21st March, it certainly can't come quickly enough for us.

Hope its warmer where you are!!

Catch you later...................

  1. It's a lot warmer where I am, on our ninth consecutive day above 30 C. (The consistency is unusual for us). It's night now, and it's still 33. Want some? I hope it warms up for you soon!

    1. ha ha Kathleen, I guess we always want what we haven't got. My friend lived in Dubai for many years a craved some cooler/cold weather. She is now in Canada and complaining how cold it has been........... Still enjoy your sunshine.

  2. To me that is just so pretty! Something I will never see in my backyard - unless Global Warming really ramps its fangs up...J

    1. It looks more pretty now that the sun has come out - not really melting the snow yet though.

  3. I know Spring will come soon enough, but in the meantime your backyard look so pretty with all the snow...mine is just damp, it won´t stop raining!

    1. gosh that is nearly as bad. I don't mind cold, but grey, wet, damp is horrible.

  4. Not much warmer here, but we did hit fifty yesterday. With so much snow on our ground it takes a while to melt away. We are entering what is known as "mud season" around here, very mucky, grey and ugly. Nothing looks good until the green starts popping out. The only good about our mud season is that is when the maple syrup flows. Yummy!

    1. Bunny I would be in seventh heaven with the maple syrup - love it (but avoiding at the moment for obvious reasons). My road is not made up - essentially a track, so once the snow melts it too will be mud, mud and more mud.

  5. Beautiful picture but it isn't a nice thing to see near mid March. We are having fairly nice weather. +4C at 6 a.m. and getting up to 10C or better during the day. We have some sunny days and some cloudy days.

  6. It's still cold In Chicago, but it is still winter. We can get snow in April, so I'm just keeping my mouth shut about snow:)
